Care Instructions
Knife Edge Mitts gloves can be machine washed. For best results, we suggest placing them in a mesh garment washing bag to prevent inversion of the inner and outer components.
Use a gentle washing cycle and warm water (not hot water). Do not use harsh detergents or bleach, instead we recommend using a detergent specifically designed for technical fabrics, such as SPORT-WASH. Air dry by standing the gloves or mitts on their gauntlets or hanging them by the front tips.
Tested Like No Other
Our Mainers gloves and mitts have been subjected to the very same rigorous testing we put our cryogenic gloves through. Why? Because we build the best, you deserve the best, and well, we wouldn't put our names on anything short of that.

Dependable Materials
With a leather palm and a combo Nylon/Spandex outer layer, our mitt is handcrafted for durability and versatility. An interior Gore-Tex liner keeps your hands dry from the outside while allowing them to breathe--even during strenuous activity. Moisture-wicking Polartec® Power Grid™ and Featherless 3M Thinsulate keep your hands warm, manage moisture, and provide antimicrobial protection. When the biting chill threatens to numb your fingers, the mitt's insulation fights back, trapping precious heat without impeding dexterity or maneuverability.
Warmth & Dexterity
When the biting chill threatens to numb your fingers, the mitt's insulation fights back, trapping precious heat without impeding dexterity or maneuverability. We like to keep our Mainers mitts in our pack even on relatively warm winter days just in case. They have saved us more than once!
Rooted in Maine
We handcraft our mitts in Trenton, Maine-a community where we're committed to building something special while creating local jobs. With Acadia National Park in our backyard, it’s also a place that’s taught us a little something about how harsh winter can be.
